Nervous System Reset
A space to listen. A space to be.
Your nervous system is constantly responding to your environment—
shifting between states of activation and rest.
When stress accumulates, the body can become held in patterns of tension, fatigue, or overwhelm.
This experience is designed to gently support your system in shifting—
not through force, but through allowing.
Why this works — in your body, and in community
Acupuncture and acupressure work by gently signaling the body to move out of stress patterns and toward regulation—supporting rest, repair, and restoration.
Sound therapy adds another layer, using tone and frequency to support the brain and body in settling into slower, more restorative states often associated with meditation and early sleep.
And then, there is the often-unspoken element: community.
Receiving care in a shared, intentional space can create a sense of collective ease. As each person begins to settle, it often becomes easier for others to do the same.
This is not about doing more.
It is about creating the conditions where your body can respond.
FAQ
What will this feel like for me, individually?
Each person experiences this differently. Many notice a gradual softening—slower breathing, quieter thoughts, or a sense of being more present in their body. You may feel deeply relaxed, lightly drifting, or simply more settled.
Some notice changes during the session; others feel them later. There is no right way to experience this. What does it feel like in a group setting?
There is something quietly supportive about being in a shared, intentional space that is seeking calm awareness. As each nervous system begins to settle, there can be a collective sense of ease. You are still receiving individualized care, while also being supported by the presence of others. What does acupuncture feel like?
Acupuncture uses very fine, sterile needles. At insertion, you may feel very little, or a brief sensation such as a light pinch or subtle pressure.Once placed, you may experience what is known as “de qi”—a therapeutic response that can feel like:
• A gentle heaviness or fullness
• Warmth or spreading sensation
• A dull ache or pressure
• Mild tingling or movementThese sensations are typically mild and short-lived.Not everyone feels this strongly—and treatment remains effective regardless. What does acupressure feel like?
Acupressure uses gentle, sustained pressure instead of needles. You may feel warmth, pressure, or a subtle release in the area. Dr. Marnie, ND may hold areas of tension to feel release.
Many experience it as grounding and calming.Pressure is always adapted to your comfort.Do I have to receive acupuncture?
